1. Overview
Fur King Online Pty Ltd ("Fur King", "we", "us", "our") warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase, subject to the terms set out in this policy. This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit or exclude, any rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law (see Section 7).
2. Warranty Period
This warranty runs for 12 months from the date of original purchase, as shown on your order confirmation, invoice, or receipt. The warranty period is not extended, paused, or renewed by any repair or replacement provided during the period.
3. Who Is Covered — Not Transferable
This warranty is extended solely to the original purchaser named on the original proof of purchase. It is personal to that purchaser and is not transferable to any second-hand, secondary, or subsequent owner, including but not limited to recipients of a gifted item, or a buyer in a private sale, resale, or trade of the product. If the product changes ownership after the original purchase, this warranty ceases to apply, and the new owner is not entitled to make a claim under it. Proof of original purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice in the original purchaser's name) is required for all claims.
4. What This Warranty Covers
Subject to Section 5, this warranty covers genuine defects in materials or workmanship that arise under normal domestic use, including:
● Structural failure of frames, wheels, or folding mechanisms not caused by misuse or excess load
● Faulty stitching, zips, clasps, or fastenings on prams, strollers, harnesses, and beds
● Motor or component failure on clippers and nail grinders under normal use
● Materials that fail prematurely under normal, intended use of the product
5. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
● Normal wear and tear, including fading, scuffing, or gradual wearing of fabric and wheels
● Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or use inconsistent with the product's intended purpose
● Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, modifications, or use of non-approved parts
● Damage from exposure to weather, water, or conditions beyond the product's intended use
● Products used for commercial, rental, or business purposes, unless a separate commercial warranty has been agreed in writing
● Damage occurring during return shipping, or failure to follow supplied care and use instructions
● Products purchased second-hand, or where proof of original purchase cannot be provided (see Section 3)
6. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a claim under this warranty, please contact us via our Contact page at furking.com.au/pages/contact with:
● Your order number, invoice, or receipt showing the original purchase date and purchaser name
● A description of the fault
● Photos or video clearly showing the issue
We will assess your claim and, where the product is found to have a defect covered by this warranty, will repair or replace the product at our discretion. We may request the product be returned to us for inspection; where this is required, we will advise you of the process and any shipping arrangements.
7. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits given to you under this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify those statutory consumer guarantees, and to the extent any term of this policy is inconsistent with the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law prevails.
